Just wanted to take a moment to celebrate the Graduation of the Class if 2015! It’s graduation season! College seniors, high school seniors, middle-school students and preschoolers everywhere are embarking on a new journey as they make this important transition in their lives.
I remember graduating in 2006 from High School and I was in tears by the pride that filled up inside of me as I celebrated my accomplishment. I had not imagined what life would be after high school but it was ingrained in me that college was the natural next step! I attended Howard University and graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism (minor in Entrepreneurship).
I mention all of that to show how fast life flies by. Not only did I earn a degree at the end of my high school and undergraduate college career, I learned many life lessons and had various life experiences that have allowed me to grow as a young woman. That is what all of the graduates have to gain from the new life experiences that are to come! So I take my hat off to all graduates and I wish you all the best and good luck!
